Empowerment
Helping individuals recognize and use the power of their own voices.
ESWP-TAPN2U exists because every person carries a story worth speaking — and because the act of speaking, with care and intention, can begin to heal both the speaker and the world they enter.
Empowerment Thru Spoken Word Poetry — TAPN2U was founded on a simple conviction: that creative expression is not a luxury, but a pathway. When people are invited to speak from the heart, in a room held with care, what emerges is often the very thing they have been carrying alone.
From that conviction, ESWP grew into a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity — connecting spoken word poetry, workshops, performances, and community programs with healing, mental wellness, cultural awareness, and peace.
We serve youth, adults, artists, and community members — especially those navigating hardship, mental health challenges, rare-disease experiences, grief, trauma, or major life transitions. We meet people where they are, and we hold the space for them to speak.
To empower individuals and communities through spoken word poetry and creative expression — fostering healing, self-belief, personal growth, mental wellness, cultural awareness, and community peace.
A world where individuals are encouraged to speak, heal, create, and grow through the power of words — where pain becomes purpose, silence becomes voice, and personal experience becomes collective understanding.
Helping individuals recognize and use the power of their own voices.
Creating safe spaces for emotional reflection, release, growth, and recovery.
Using poetry, storytelling, and the arts as tools for transformation.
Building connection, compassion, and shared understanding across diverse groups.
Encouraging inner peace, community peace, and positive action.
Welcoming diverse voices, stories, cultures, and lived experiences.
Using creative gifts and community programs to uplift, support, and inspire others.
